Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Poland. Must attend local office for part of the week.

Salary: zł257,000.00–zł385,000.00 per year.

What you will do

• Take full ownership of designing, writing, testing, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality code for systems used by millions worldwide.
• Drive the entire SDLC from ideation and architecture through delivery and ongoing support.
• Lead squad-based initiatives and influence technical decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Address technical debt proactively and lead insightful, comprehensive code reviews.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability, setting high standards for code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, designing and developing scalable applications, distributed systems, and cloud-based solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and React.
• Proficiency in at least one modern OOP language (e.g., Java, PHP, C#).
• Strong fluency with cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS.
• Profound understanding of programming best practices, distributed system concepts, and the SDLC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Go programming language.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with ClickHouse or other analytical databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Sentry).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Spinnaker.
• Previous experience working with CX Workforce Management (WFM) tools or platforms.
