Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js, React)

What you will do

• Deliver features end-to-end based on specifications from internal product teams.
• Contribute to grantmaking workflows including dynamic form builders, multi-stage review processes, and award management.
• Develop and harden payment integrations, including recurring donation scheduling and international currency support.
• Implement program administration features like campaign management, eligibility configuration, and multi-language support.
• Develop dbt models, tenant mapping services, and Auth0 federation for the data platform.
• Model datasets in QuickSight, support BI tool migration, and implement data export functionalities for reporting.

Requirements

• Expert use of AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for backend and serverless development.
• Experience with React for frontend development.
• Expertise in Aurora PostgreSQL for schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB, including single-table design patterns.
• Demonstrated ability in REST API design and serverless architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in Git workflow, code review, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow engine patterns (state machines, approval chains).
• Prior experience with Stripe or other payment processing integration.
• Domain experience in grants management or financial compliance.
• Familiarity with dbt, Snowflake, or data pipeline technologies.
• Experience with Auth0 / OAuth2 integration.
• Knowledge of SST, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or Serverless Framework.
