What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of technically complex features, ensuring performance, reliability, and engineering quality.
• Lead implementation of architectural designs, translating vision into production-ready code that works at scale.
• Proactively discover new technologies and engineering practices, championing their adoption to benefit the team.
• Remedy gaps in technical knowledge and raise engineering standards across all aspects of software engineering.
• Mentor team members and actively share expertise, providing guidance on software engineering.
• Embrace the challenge of working on unfamiliar technologies and codebases as opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions.
• Deep expertise in a core technology stack and battle-tested experience building and operating high-performance, mission-critical systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and an AI-positive mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid backend architecture chops, including distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and API design.
• Strong English-language communication skills and ability to work effectively in globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Must work hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) from Kraków, Poland.
