Location: Remote from Poland (Hybrid option in Gdansk is also available)

What you will do

• Ensure the operational reliability of the KUREPO invoicing solution.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems for applications.
• Drive technical decisions and promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and areas for system improvement.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proven experience in designing and architecting scalable, distributed systems.
• Strong PL/SQL knowledge and experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Node.js and React.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes).
• Proficient with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Skilled in working with both NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• English: B2 (Upper-intermediate) or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, including Spring and SpringBoot.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Proficiency in German.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Experience with GCP and services like BigQuery.
