What you will do

• Design, build, and operate backend services that handle sensitive, high-volume financial data.
• Own services end-to-end, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operation in production.
• Work on distributed systems, focusing on failure handling, observability, and data consistency.
• Collaborate closely with other backend engineers, infrastructure, and product teams to continuously improve the platform.
• Receive frequent feedback and support from senior, principal, and lead engineers for growth.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a backend software engineer.
• Professional backend experience with TypeScript, or another strongly typed backend language such as Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Experience with AWS or cloud-native environments.
• A completed technical BSc or MSc education or demonstrated similar working level.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or other correctness-critical domains.
• Experience with high-throughput or security-sensitive systems.
