Engineering Manager (Consumer - Coinbase Card)

TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Consumer - hirify.global Card): Leading the hirify.global Card team within the Consumer Product Group, overseeing the full lifecycle of the hirify.global Card product. Focus on card management, transaction processing, and seamless crypto spending globally.

Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually.

Salary: $218,025—$256,500 USD

What you will do

• Build and manage full-stack engineering teams to develop features, services, and infrastructure for web and mobile.
• Coach direct reports to positively impact the organization and support their career growth.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate vision into a tangible quarterly roadmap.
• Be a technical voice within the team, aiding in architectural decisions and fostering high-quality code and engineering processes.
• Work with the talent organization to recruit exceptional engineers who align with hirify.global's culture.
• Contribute to processes that drive engineering quality and meet engineering SLAs.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with Card products and built or worked on such a product at scale.
• Strong understanding of high-quality code and effective software engineering processes.
• Execution-focused mindset, capable of delivering results.
• Experience in creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.

Nice to have

• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.
