Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based near Sunnyvale, CA, Redmond, WA, or Austin, TX offices, with an expectation of approximately two days per week in-office. Travel will be required, primarily to the United States (2-3 times per year). This position is open to all U.S. candidates.

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

Requirements

• Prior experience as a manager of software development teams and as a software developer.
• Experience working on systems software using C++ or C.
• Solid design and problem-solving skills with a passion for engineering excellence, quality, security, and performance.
• Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated track record of mentoring and coaching engineers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across the organization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with systems programming on multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux).
• Experience working with distributed systems with endpoint and cloud components.
• Experience with and interest in cybersecurity.
• Experience with event-based architectures.
