Location: Remote work is available. The team operates from Berlin, Germany and Kyiv, Ukraine.

What you will do

• Join and contribute to the Retail Team, sharing ownership of the entire development lifecycle.
• Investigate, architect, develop, ensure quality, ship, monitor, and maintain business-critical services and components.
• Solve complex problems and drive platform innovation using your experience and a hands-on attitude.
• Collaborate and communicate to drive PoC’s, refactorings, and evangelize best practices.
• Contribute to improving the tech stack, questioning the status-quo, and striving for platform innovation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java & the JVM and comfort within cloud and microservice environments.
• Daily experience with Docker and CI/CD flows.
• Ability to leverage monitoring and tracing tools to ensure quality and operational excellence.
• Understanding and application of software design patterns and principles such as chain of responsibility, DI/IoC, strategy, and builder patterns.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Advanced experience in JDK11+, AWS, PostgreSQL, Jenkins Job DSL, Terraform, and Spring Framework.
