What you will do

• Shape architecture and long-term evolution of complex, distributed systems.

• Adopt modern engineering practices using Java/Spring, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Design, build, and operate resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java/Spring, Kubernetes, AWS, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Autonomy in delivering high-quality, production-ready code.
• Ability to positively influence engineering culture and maintain technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills for constructive discussions.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a drive for continuous learning.
• Fluency in English required.
• Ability to work 80% on-site in Berlin, Germany.
