What you will do

• Architect and own scalable Java microservices (AWS, K8s, Terraform, ArgoCD) end-to-end.
• Lead and provide precise constraints to AI models for code generation, then review and validate output.
• Automate CI/CD, generate tests, and identify bottlenecks in distributed environments using AI.
• Utilize AI tools to refactor legacy code and evolve platform services for game teams.
• Help define and shape the company's "AI-first" engineering processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Java backend development with deep expertise in distributed systems and high-load architectures.
• Proficiency with cloud-native stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Architectural mindset to design clean, resilient, and scalable systems.
• Strong analytical skills for communicating precise instructions to human and AI teams.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• English: Very good English skills required for collaboration.
• Time zone: Must be located within the German time zone.
