What you will do

• Take a leading role in shaping the architecture and long-term evolution of highly complex, distributed systems.
• Drive collaboration across teams, influencing technical and product decisions.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices using Java/Spring, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Design, build, and operate resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform.
• Contribute to AI-powered projects and constantly raise the bar for engineering excellence.
• Mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ownership.

Requirements

• Strong end-to-end passion for building and operating business-critical services.
• Extensive experience with Java/Spring, Kubernetes, and AWS in microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Autonomy to work independently while consistently delivering high-quality, production-ready code.
• Ability to positively influence engineering culture and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills for open and constructive discussions.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Camunda).
• Experience with Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as incremental design, pairing, trunk-based development, and continuous deployment.
