What you will do

• Develop and maintain Dialpad's web & desktop applications using modern technologies.
• Write clear and complete architectural design documents.
• Provide estimates on technical resources and project requirements.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code with unit tests.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and help them grow their skills and expertise.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong experience with Python (or other language), Vue/React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud infrastructures (Google Cloud Platform is a plus).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and preventing performance and optimization problems.
• Experience with building reusable and modular components (frontend and backend) and mentoring junior engineers.
• Hybrid position with an expectation to be in the London office 2-3 times per week.
