What you will do

  • Champion the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, compensation, and offboarding for EMEA.
  • Create, maintain, and amend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all People Ops processes.
  • Manage accurate preparation and submission of HR-to-Payroll data, ensuring data integrity across geographies.
  • Maintain and optimize HR systems like Workday and Greenhouse, ensuring timely data processing and clean records.
  • Act as the first line of support for employee inquiries on benefits, payroll, and policy, adhering to SLAs.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement scalable solutions to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in employee records, contracts, and right-to-work documentation, providing basic reporting and ensuring global regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with Legal, IT, and Finance on complex cases and strategic projects like compensation cycles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Administration, ideally within a high-growth tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS, and comfortable with ATS (e.g., Greenhouse) and support tools (e.g., Zendesk).
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
  • Understanding of the HR-to-Payroll pipeline and data flow.
  • Detail-oriented approach, especially for sensitive employee information and compliance.
  • Adaptability and empathy to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex People processes.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the UK or Portugal.
