Location: Hybrid role in London (UK) or Sofia (BG). Candidates choosing the Sofia office must be based in Sofia to attend the office 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Develop core functionality for customer-facing and internal products, data platforms, and e-commerce capabilities.
• Develop extensible platforms and architectures to efficiently launch new products and lines of business.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems.
• Develop APIs powering web & mobile platforms for the product portfolio.
• Drive impact and own your work end-to-end, from scoping and planning to deployment and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, QAs, and product managers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience as a software engineer.
• Must be based in Sofia (BG) if choosing the Sofia office to attend 3 days per week.
• Familiarity with scalable cloud architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Experience with databases (relational, search engines) and data management practices.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and testable code (unit, integration, performance testing).
• Great verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex ideas.

Nice to have

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Practical experience building scalable & highly reliable cloud systems for millions of users.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
