What you will do

• Optimize payment processing costs and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Manage relationships and lead commercial negotiations with PSPs, acquiring banks, and card schemes.
• Define and execute multi-PSP and multi-acquirer strategies.
• Act as primary contact for card schemes, managing programs and compliance.
• Optimize payment performance, including authorization rates and acceptance, balancing with fraud controls.
• Own payment setup, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting processes, providing actionable insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of card payments, including interchange, scheme fees, and pricing models.
• Hands-on experience working with PSPs, acquiring banks, and card networks (Visa, Mastercard).
• Proven track record of negotiating commercial terms and managing external partners.
• Solid understanding of payment routing, authorization flows, and issuer decline reasons.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, card scheme rules, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in high-volume payment environments (e-commerce, marketplaces, fintech).
• Experience working across multiple countries and regions.
• Background in product, finance, or operations within payments.
