Technical Support Engineer (Networking)

What you will do

• Provide 2nd level technical support to customers for industrial networking solutions.
• Analyze and recreate customer issues to determine root causes.
• Advise on network design and configuration to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Create knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
• Provide technical direction to internal team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent with strong networking background (ethernet, OSPF, C37.94, T1/E1, RS232/422/455).
• Deep understanding of MPLS-TP architecture and fault-tolerant design.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting telecommunication networks using Wireshark.
• Ability to identify and solve complex connection/communication problems.
• Must reside within a few hours driving distance from the Charlotte, NC metro area, with ~30% travel required.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Programming/Scripting skills (Python).
• CCNA/CCNP qualification.
• Knowledge of Power Transmission and Distribution and/or Transportation applications.
