TL;DR

Senior Technical Recruiter: Owning the full recruitment lifecycle for world-class technical talent in semiconductor innovation with an accent on strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and offer negotiation. Focus on building high-impact engineering teams and contributing to global staffing process optimization initiatives.

Location: Mainly onsite in Edinburgh, Scotland or Newbury, England with some flexibility for remote work. Candidates must be based within commutable distance of the work location or willing to relocate to the UK prior to beginning employment.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of technical talent through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Identify, attract, and engage niche specialists across semiconductor design, engineering, and related technical domains.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including screening, interviewing, offer strategy, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance and support global hiring metrics.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to define role requirements, craft job descriptions, and align on recruitment strategy.
  • Contribute to global staffing initiatives aimed at improving process efficiency, employer branding, and overall recruitment capability.

Requirements

  • In-house recruiting experience, ideally within technology, engineering, or semiconductor environments.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing, project management, interviewing, and closing candidates for highly technical roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • High digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Hands-on experience using web-based applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms.
  • Ability to access technical data without an export license (due to export control restrictions).
