Delivery Manager (PlatformOps Manager): Leading the Monetization Content Delivery team to smoothly deliver content to the Flo app, ensuring content reaches the right audience safely, efficiently, and with high quality. What you will do
- Own the team's delivery cadence, including sprint planning, retrospectives, estimations, and backlog health.
- Ensure the team consistently hits sprint goals by removing blockers and managing dependencies.
- Champion engineering standards, proactively managing technical debt and quality.
- Mentor and coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Provide technical direction within the team’s domain, contributing to discussions on pragmatic implementation.
- Work with Product Managers to break down requests into well-scoped tasks.
Requirements
- Experience leading an engineering team in a delivery-focused environment (3+ years).
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Product to define scope and prioritize work.
- Track record of improving team processes and engineering practices.
- People management experience including 1:1s, coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Strong ownership of Agile delivery execution and ability to translate product requests into technical plans.
- Working knowledge of operating services in production, including incident handling.
Nice to have
- Experience driving improvements in internal tooling, developer experience, or CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with reliability practices (observability, on-call health, SLIs/SLOs).
- Experience hiring and building teams (interviewing, onboarding).
