What you will do

• Lead the re-architecture and modernization of a real-time Portfolio Risk Analytics system.
• Design and implement high-performance real-time back-end systems in C#.
• Optimize and support the existing system while developing the new system.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure back-end systems effectively power web-based applications.
• Develop containerized applications and deploy them in Kubernetes environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in C#/.NET server-side development, with a focus on real-time, stateful applications.
• Strong experience in the equity and index options industry or other relevant derivatives market.
• Proven expertise in rearchitecting complex systems to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience with real-time data processing and cross-process/network communications.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational support of enterprise systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with financial risk analytics and portfolio management systems.
• Hands-on experience developing containerized applications and hosting them in Kubernetes or similar orchestrated environments.
• Experience with telemetry and operational support tooling for monitoring and debugging real-time systems.
• Familiarity with Windows desktop applications and transitioning systems to power web-based applications.
