What you will do

• Design, build, and own end-to-end scalable backend services and APIs from concept through production.
• Optimize data pipelines to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and availability for real-time use.
• Drive complex, cross-system changes with a high focus on correctness, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and business partners to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and contributing to long-term technical strategy.
• Take ownership of production systems and participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 global traffic.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and operating production software systems in high-scale environments.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and experience with .NET/C#, Java, Linux, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, and HTTP & TCP networking.
• Proven track record in performance optimization, latency reduction, profiling, and load testing.
• Ability to drive complex problems from ambiguity to execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Location: New York (Full time)
