TL;DR

Product Lead (Ecommerce): Owning and leading the end-to-end online sales journey for a digital purchase experience with an accent on strategy, roadmap development, and conversion optimization. Focus on improving customer experience, reducing abandonment, and driving commercial outcomes through A/B testing and data analysis.

Location: Hybrid, based in the UK (Birmingham, Bristol, London, or Manchester), with 3 days required at your contractual location.

What you will do

  • Own and lead the end-to-end online sales journey, defining strategy and roadmap from browsing to post-purchase.
  • Optimize basket, checkout, and conversion performance using customer insight, data, UX research, and market analysis.
  • Drive commercial outcomes by improving conversion, reducing abandonment, and running A/B tests.
  • Lead cross-functional squads (UX, engineering, data, research) to deliver high-quality digital sales experiences.
  • Maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap aligned with wider business and product objectives.
  • Coach and develop product managers while embedding strong Agile practices across the team.

Requirements

  • Strong digital product leadership with experience setting strategy and roadmaps for online sales journeys, ideally within ecommerce.
  • Proven ability to optimize sales funnels through conversion improvement, A/B testing, and experimentation.
  • Solid understanding of customer experience and UX design to translate insights into high-performing purchase journeys.
  • Confidence in using data and commercial metrics to drive decisions, prioritize enhancements, and measure impact.
  • Highly collaborative, comfortable working closely with Digital, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, UX, and Data teams.
  • Experience coaching and leading product managers alongside multidisciplinary squads.
