What you will do

• Define and maintain the overarching architecture vision, design patterns, and technology stacks, ensuring consistency and interoperability across all platforms.
• Ensure all systems are built for global scale, optimizing performance, latency, and availability while proactively identifying scalability risks.
• Embed architectural controls to support data privacy, player protection, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead the architecture review process, maintaining visibility into technical debt, and providing strategic guidance on platform investments.
• Architect and optimize API and data flow designs for seamless interoperability between core gaming, payments, analytics, and marketing platforms.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies, leading proof-of-concept initiatives to advance platform capabilities and inform the innovation roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience, with 3+ years in an architecture leadership role for high-volume consumer-facing digital experiences.
• Proven track record designing and scaling cloud-native, distributed systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with deep expertise in microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance frameworks relevant to regulated industries (e.g., gaming, fintech).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives, influence architecture direction at scale, and communicate effectively across all levels.

• Experience in gaming, betting, or other highly regulated digital industries.
