What you will do

• Build and maintain production machine learning models for image/text generation and ad quality prediction.
• Derive insights and form hypotheses on web-scale data using machine learning, computer vision, feature engineering, and statistical techniques.
• Design experiments, understand resulting data, and produce actionable conclusions.
• Craft and optimize prompts for effective LLM and VLM performance.
• Wrangle large datasets using various tools, including Python, R, C#, C++, Java, and SQL.
• Present concise answers from complex data to assist senior executives in making key business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years, Master’s with 1+ year, or Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be able to work from the Microsoft office in Redmond at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S.
• Demonstrated experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs/VLMs), such as GPT or BERT.
• Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision techniques.
• Experience delivering, scaling, and maintaining highly successful and innovative machine learning products.
• Understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning technologies and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
