What you will do
- Administer cloud environments, managing cloud services and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Respond promptly to operational issues, performing troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code adoption and automation to streamline operations.
- Enforce security policies for cloud operations to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
- Support migration strategies and modernization initiatives for enterprise workloads.
- Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 6+ years in CloudOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure management.
- Expert-level knowledge of container management and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and virtualized environments within AWS/Azure.
- Strong proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Advanced scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash).
- Eligibility to work for hirify.global in Canada in a full-time capacity.
- Ability to work on-call hours for support.
