Salary: $85,000–$100,000 CAD

What you will do

• Keep tooling and processes up to date with the organization's evolving needs as the user base and engineering team scale.
• Partner with development and product teams to understand bottlenecks and mentor them on operational ownership.
• Improve internal tooling, including instrumentation, dashboards, and deployment automation, as well as the infrastructural availability of production services.
• Implement and maintain system configurations and baselines to support secure application development software control best practices and standards.
• Provide high-availability operational support and automated solutions across the environment.
• Ensure infrastructure and applications are secure by design and measure implemented security measures throughout the DevOps lifecycle.

Requirements

• Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Programming/Systems, or Computer Science.
• 3+ years experience in software development.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong developer mindset.
• Knowledge of Bash, Python, and working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with creating Ansible and Terraform playbooks.
• Experience with GitOps (Jfrog/Nexus), Docker, Kubernetes (Openshift), and Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
• Understanding of event streaming technologies such as Kafka or messaging technologies such as JMS.
• Knowledge of security compliance and regulations (e.g., OSFI, GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
