What you will do

• Collaborate with Applied Science and Data Science teams to deliver high-accuracy document classification and extraction solutions.
• Lead technical design for complex ML systems, managing the lifecycle from RFC to production deployment.
• Develop and optimize production pipelines for training, evaluating, and deploying LLM models.
• Implement GPU optimizations for inference and design advanced labeling workflows to improve model accuracy.
• Champion system performance, scalability, and reliability by proactively identifying and addressing technical debt.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Strong production engineering experience with complex systems, observability, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with LLM/ML systems in production, including fine-tuning, inference pipelines, and model evaluation.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Triton.
• Experience building production services in Python and working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects from design to deployment.
• Strong judgment and initiative in making technical decisions within ambiguous environments.
