What you will do

• Oversee general accounting activities, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and monthly closings.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis.
• Produce and present monthly financial reports for local management and HQ.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and group policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the main financial point of contact.
• Manage the finance and accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Spanish accounting standards, plus Spanish tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, or willingness to learn Spanish.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience managing a team.
• Cross-functional support for Vantage Finance reporting.
• Experience advising on Spanish financial and legal requirements for R&D subventions and grants.
