Location: Hybrid role, based in San Francisco, CA or Washington, DC. Requires approximately 25% travel for out-of-town events and additional travel to hirify.global offices. Visa sponsorship is available.

Salary: $295,000 - $295,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive policy events across hirify.global’s priority regions.
• Plan, manage, and execute a portfolio of strategic events, including hosted events and third-party activations.
• Build scalable frameworks and processes for event programs from scratch.
• Manage regional resources, cultivate partner relationships, and align with Central Policy leadership.
• Measure and report on program effectiveness, including stakeholder engagement and ROI.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent strategy and messaging.

Requirements

• 10+ years of events experience with deep expertise in policy event management.
• Proven experience leading event strategy and execution in-house, preferably in a startup.
• Strong project management skills, managing complex, multi-region programs simultaneously.
• Exceptional budgeting and financial management capabilities for substantial event budgets.
• Demonstrable cultural awareness and ability to adapt strategies for diverse policy audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to program optimization.
• English: B2 required.

• Experience educating policy audiences about AI/ML or complex technical topics.
• Understanding of U.S. regulatory and compliance requirements for policy events.
