Senior Systems Administrator

Senior Systems Administrator: Responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of ICT systems, particularly multi-user networked environments including servers with an accent on optimal uptime, performance, resource availability, and cybersecurity compliance. Focus on providing onsite technical leadership and daily task allocation across the technical team, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and systems requirements.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and daily task allocation across the technical team.
• Ensure alignment with operational priorities and systems requirements.
• Maintain and configure ICT systems, particularly multi-user networked environments including servers.
• Ensure optimal uptime, performance, and resource availability.
• Maintain cybersecurity compliance.
• Monitor and analyze systems and manage infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance and be an Australian Citizen.

Nice to have

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
• Ideally already hold an NV2 Defence Security Clearance, or at least an NV1 and willing to obtain NV2 status.
