What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional product team, taking full ownership of delivery for two products.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute tasks to ensure predictable outcomes.
• Own technical decisions and drive system evolution across Python, PHP, and React stacks.
• Maintain and raise engineering standards, including testing and quality practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor, and manage the performance of team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams in multi-stack environments (e.g., Python + PHP).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional product teams.
• Strong backend engineering background, preferably PHP or Python (5+ years of commercial experience).
• Experience building and maintaining APIs and a solid understanding of databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with distributed architectures, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
• Strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, and clear communication.
• Ukrainian or Russian: native
• English: Intermediate or higher

• Experience with WordPress-based products.
• Exposure to React-based frontends.
• Experience scaling or stabilizing newly launched products.
