TL;DR
Security Intern (Fintech): Supporting the Product Security Engineering and Architecture (PSEA) team to enhance hirify.global’s security posture with an accent on preventive, detective, and responsive security controls. Focus on revamping secrets and key management, deploying network security controls, and improving vulnerability management and operational workflows.
Location: This is a hybrid role requiring work from the San Francisco office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Salary: $9,500 monthly (USA)

What you will do
- Partner with security engineers across Identity & Access Management (IAM), Platform Security, and Product Security functions.
- Contribute to projects like revamping secrets and key management solutions.
- Deploy controls to bolster network security at scale.
- Enhance the Vulnerability Management Program and develop automations for operational workflows.
- Apply IAM controls across various users, applications, and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Security teams such as Security Operations & Security Risk Management.
Requirements
- Strong ethical and discretionary ability to handle sensitive information and data.
- University enrolled student with experience or interest in information security.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and open to receiving feedback.
- Good communication skills with an interest in learning to communicate security issues to diverse audiences.
- Experience with Python or a similar language to help develop API integrations.
- Some knowledge of cloud security fundamentals is preferred (AWS or similar).
