Software Engineer (NodeJS/Typescript)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and release reliable software in production.
• Contribute to system design and architecture decisions, challenging existing solutions.
• Own releases end-to-end, including monitoring, incident investigation, and recovery.
• Use observability and metrics to ensure quality, performance, and reliability.
• Continuously improve code quality, testing practices, and engineering processes.
• Contribute to project planning, estimations, risk identification, and incremental delivery.
• Work closely with Product and Design to deliver user-centric solutions.

Requirements

• Several years of experience building backend services and applications (4-5 years).
• Solid technical background in web technologies.
• First experience with distributed architectural patterns in a microservice environment.
• Rigorous, dynamic, and curious with an agile mindset and strong team spirit.
• Experience building software with a problem-solving approach leveraging customer inputs.
• Ability to challenge product and stakeholder decisions and ensure monitoring and documentation post-release.
• Comfortable writing and speaking in English.
