Salary: $4,320–$8,800 per month (hourly rate of $27–$55)

What you will do

• Perform system architectural design and implementation of specific proof of concepts for optimal execution in distributed heterogeneous environments.
• Conduct advanced benchmarking, characterization, and performance analysis of complex workloads.
• Work closely with experienced hardware and software architects, data scientists, and system engineers.
• Develop simulation environments for large-scale setups and configurations, particularly in the AI/ML domain.
• Collaborate with focused teams on various tasks including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving performance issues.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or other related fields.
• Proficiency in performance benchmarking of AI data processing workloads, system profiling, and analyzing end-to-end flows.
• Experience in accelerated compute for AI workloads, especially with vector and graph databases or similar big data applications.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and interest in generative AI.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently on complex problems.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information; applicants may be subject to an export license review prior to employment.
