TL;DR

AI Engineering/Data Science Intern (AI): Contributing to growing AI and machine learning initiatives by harnessing data while working alongside data science and AI applications teams. Focus on solving problems and working with data to derive insights that will help lift people at work.

Location: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

What you will do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities.
• Create exploratory data analysis and visualizations.
• Build machine learning models to improve customer experience or key processes.
• Use NLP and LLMs to interpret textual data and work with conversational interfaces.
• Write scripts and code to deploy and tune AI applications.

Requirements

• Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or related degree.
• Data querying and transformation with SQL and Python.
• Coding software that works with data.
• Data exploration and visualization.
• Familiarity with the workings of LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and predictive modeling.
• Exposure to cloud-based computing environments such as AWS and GCP.

• Strong in understanding underlying math and algorithms.
