Salary: $141,900 - $210,010

What you will do

• Develop preamplifier ICs for HDD applications.
• Automate layout and schematic tasks using Cadence SKILL, Python, and PERL.
• Contribute to the implementation and validation of new and derivative ICs using the Advanced Silicon Germanium process.
• Perform system level and block level IC design activities including circuit architecture, schematic capture, and simulation.
• Create clear documentation of design and product development activities.
• Work with Characterization & Product Engineers to define, conduct, and analyze product performance data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of experience, OR Master’s/PhD with 2-3 years of experience.
• Minimum two years of overall analog integrated circuit design and design automation experience.
• Expertise in Cadence SKILL language as well as Python and PERL scripting.
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge in deep sub-micron CMOS or BiCMOS technologies.
• Minimum two years hands-on experience in designing mixed signal integrated circuits including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Filters, Bandgap bias circuits, or regulators.
• Knowledge and experience on low power and high-speed design techniques and IC design CAD tools (Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog).
• A thorough understanding of physical layout requirements and ability to perform critical layouts for analog circuits.
• English: B2 required.
