What you will do

• Design analog blocks, systems, or sub-systems using behavioral modeling and transistor-level tools.
• Implement and optimize circuit architectures and transistor-level solutions for performance, power, and cost.
• Oversee custom physical layout, define internal chip interfaces, and review chip package pinout/ballout.
• Design and/or review PC test board schematics used for testing IC performance.
• Characterize and debug the performance of ICs using lab equipment.
• Work with automatic test engineers to develop production tests and document circuit operation and performance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in analog design and in-depth knowledge of CMOS devices.
• In-depth knowledge of analog and high-voltage layout techniques.
• Ability to optimize circuit power, area, and performance.
• Skill in running simulations, doing layout design, and performing verification and extraction.
• Experience with Cadence design tools, including Analog Artist and Virtuoso.
• Education and Experience: Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience; or Masters degree and 10+ years; or PhD and 7+ years.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of switched power supplies, high-voltage BCD technologies, and high-voltage/power circuitry.
• Bench testing knowledge for post-silicon evaluation.
