What you will do

• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex features and innovation projects, including architectural design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Lead full-stack development for backend APIs (Python: FastAPI/Django) and frontend applications (React, React Native).
• Provision and manage AWS cloud resources using Terraform and optimize CI/CD workflows with GitLab CI and Docker.
• Manage data schemas and optimize performance across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, monitoring system health with New Relic and Datadog.
• Provide high-level analysis and resolution for production incidents and participate in on-call support rotations.
• Ensure solutions follow global framework standards, maintain technical documentation, and lead Knowledge Transfer sessions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development with a track record of leading complex projects.
• Deep expertise in Python 3.9+ (FastAPI, Django), React 18, React Native, TypeScript, AWS, and Terraform.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage production incidents and thrive in an on-call environment with strict SLAs.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) in Toronto, Ontario.
