Fullstack Engineer (Adtech)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (Adtech): Building and improving campaign editors and expanding campaign channels with new bidding strategies, as well as managing hirify.global's public GraphQL API. Focus on scalable distributed systems and optimizing system-wide performance.

What you will do

• Design, improve, and debug complex, scalable distributed systems.
• Optimize bottlenecks and improve general system-wide performance.
• Keep the tech stack updated with current standards.
• Write extensible, scalable, and test-driven code.
• Participate in technical planning and architectural decision-making.
• Collaborate with team members on designing scalable, well-tested, and well-documented web architecture, including APIs and backend systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-time work experience building high-performing web applications.
• Knowledge of full-stack technologies: React, Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, etc.
• Experience with a technical project end-to-end, from design to delivery.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design for web-based APIs and backend processing systems.
• Experience working with relational databases and key-value stores.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or other equivalent cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with creatives, AdTag, or programmatic advertising.
• Experience analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack.
