Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

TL;DR

Engineering Intern (Fullstack): Collaborating on the design, development, and testing of new features for web and mobile applications with an accent on clean code, industry best practices, and user experience. Focus on contributing to a dynamic product, troubleshooting issues, and leveraging data for engineering decisions.

Location: San Francisco. Must be available to work from the office in SOMA, San Francisco.

What you will do

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and test new features for web and mobile applications.
• Write clean, efficient code and participate in debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Provide insights and suggestions for improving UI, UX, and overall software performance.
• Collaborate with data analysts to collect and analyze user interaction data for informed engineering decisions.
• Proactively learn and expand skills in various technologies and development methodologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, with a graduation date between 2027 and 2028.
• Proficient in programming in one or more of Javascript/Typescript, Ruby, or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries such as Micronaut, gRPC, DataDog, Postgres, SQL/Jooq, and React.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work from our office in SOMA, San Francisco.
