Software Engineer II Frontend Development (AI)

TL;DR

Software Engineer II (Frontend): Developing world-class Web UI experiences for the Microsoft Ads demand management platform and enabling new Ads Products to advertisers with an accent on customer satisfaction. Focus on building metrics to analyze business impact and improving code quality using AI-powered development tools.

Location: Multiple Locations, United States. Expected to work from the office at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office.

Salary: USD $100,600 – $199,000 per year (USD $131,400 – $215,400 per year in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR equivalent experience.
• Solid CS fundamentals, solid inclination for architecting at scale.
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Proficient in data driven decision making, ability to build metrics to analyze business impact.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development and testing tools.
• Solid collaborator and effective team communicator.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR equivalent experience.
• Passion for UX and creating high quality user experiences.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, speed up implementation, and streamline end-to-end engineering workflows.
