What you will do
- Lead the mission to empower product squads in designing and building modern, scalable, and accessible front-end apps.
- Define and implement solutions for general quality problems with full ownership over automation and technical solutions.
- Coach and guide product squads to find defects earlier and evangelize new automation approaches.
- Take full ownership of squad quality, using data to reduce defect leakage into production.
- Drive alignment on front-end quality initiatives across departments and ensure scalable solutions meet strategic objectives.
- Proactively identify and address potential obstacles to prevent defects and leverage industry insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Ability to influence and coach teams to adopt best practices and foster innovation in software quality.
- Experience leading complex, full-stack, and multi-platform quality initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the domain, complex systems, and in-depth knowledge of automation on multiple platforms.
- Expertise in investigating root causes of problems, particularly flaky tests and inconsistent UIs, backing findings with data.
- Proven problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and implement solutions for challenging quality problems.
- Clear understanding of what quality success looks like at both project and platform levels.
