TL;DR
Instructional Designer (Starlink Training): Designing and developing engaging training content for Starlink products with an accent on achieving desired learning outcomes and measuring impact. Focus on managing multiple product development projects and maintaining existing learning products for efficacy and scale.
Location: This is an onsite position, required to report to the Redmond office, Washington, USA. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. to conform to U.S. Government export regulations (U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee, or Asylee).
Salary: $78,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year

What you will do
- Partner with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging content for various audiences and delivery modes.
- Maintain and revise existing learning products based on end-user performance and feedback.
- Serve as project manager on multiple product development projects simultaneously, managing timelines and priorities.
- Manage learner needs, permissions, and skill tracking certifications within internal platforms.
- Lead management of curricula in the LMS, working cross-functionally with the hirify.global Instructional Design team.
- Measure and report the impact and outcomes of training material to reduce time to proficiency and increase retention.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing training curriculum.
- 2+ years of experience managing and utilizing learning management systems and skill tracking.
- Proficient in learning management systems and partner portals.
- Skilled with design tools commonly used in learning creation environments (MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Articulate Storyline, iSpring Studio & Camtasia Studio).
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
- Must conform to U.S. Government export regulations by being a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in learning theory or equivalent or 5+ years of instructional design experience.
- Experience in creating live video production, audio recording, and voiceover.
- Certifications in learning and/or project management such as CPLP, CPTD, PMP.
