TL;DR

Server & Storage Engineer (Infrastructure): Responsible for effective and efficient delivery and management of all server and storage systems across the enterprise with an accent on Windows Server administration, automation, and Nutanix environments. Focus on troubleshooting critical incidents, optimizing infrastructure performance, and ensuring high-quality solutions for business value.

Location: London, GB. Our teams come together in the office four days a week (Monday - Thursday). You'll have 10 remote days (from home or a country with a hirify.global office location).

What you will do

• Administer and upgrade Windows Server environments (2016/19/22/25).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux systems.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Implement, manage, and support Nutanix and other enterprise storage environments (EMC, NetApp).
• Manage backup and recovery tools (Veeam, Hycu, Netbackup) and patch management.
• Monitor infrastructure using tools like Solarwinds, Datadog, and Splunk.
• Handle Severity 1 & 2 incidents, provide RCA, and troubleshoot Windows, Nutanix, and storage.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in Windows Server Administration and troubleshooting.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting clients with AWS.
• Experience working in a Remote Infrastructure Management Company/Team at L2/L3 level.
• Experience in an ITIL Ticket based Incident management environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Good time management, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Must excel working in a team environment.

• Nutanix and AWS certifications.
• Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) and Windows Server Based Application Certifications.
