What you will do

• Monitor all customer-facing environments (Production, Certification, New Release, & Disaster Recovery) within Clearing and Trading business units.
• Remediate system and application issues in these environments.
• Escalate issues to appropriate next-level support and accurately report incidents to management.
• Coach team members on incident management processes, diagnosis, and use of recovery tools.
• Collaborate with support staff to enhance recovery procedures and develop working relationships with support and business teams.
• Implement improvements to platform-specific monitoring tools for efficiency and reduction of operational noise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical support or troubleshooting-focused role.
• Linux proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and Incident Management tools and scheduling systems.
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise, especially in critical and high-pressure scenarios.
• Established communication experience with internal and external customers and colleagues.
• Must be able to work the shift pattern: Saturday - Wednesday, 7am - 4pm in Belfast.

Nice to have

• Experience with specific monitoring tools (Helix TSOM, OVO) or ITSM systems (Remedy).
• Experience with scheduling systems (UC4).
• Experience with Cloud Platform Technologies (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure).
