Procurement Program Manager

TL;DR

Procurement Program Manager: Drives operational excellence and strategy across hirify.global’s global procurement ecosystem with an accent on enhancing compliance, spend visibility, and process automation. Focus on building scalable frameworks, leveraging analytics, and implementing technology solutions to optimize supplier management and reduce risk.

Location: Hybrid (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto, Canada). Expectation to be in office a minimum of twice per week. Occasional travel to partner or supplier sites required.

What you will do

• Develop real-time procurement dashboards and KPIs that monitor procurement cycle times, contract spend, renewals, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to streamline procurement workflows and implement/optimize procurement technologies (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Workday).
• Design and manage procurement governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with business strategy, financial controls, and compliance standards.
• Partner with leadership on annual planning, departmental OKRs, and strategic sourcing initiatives, overseeing budget development and forecasting.
• Provide mentorship and direction to project teams and analysts, building strong partnerships across Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing operations, or program management within the tech, SaaS, or high-growth corporate environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide process improvements, governance frameworks, and technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of procurement systems, data analytics, and supplier management.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI/Tableau skills; experience with ERP or P2P systems.
• Strong influencing, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience (PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification an asset).
