Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually.

Salary: $224,995—$264,700 USD

What you will do

• Work as a legal advisor to business executives and security/technology teams.
• Ensure compliance of US and international operations with e-money/payment services and financial services law.
• Provide legal guidance to international operating entities.
• Advise business leads on regulatory and policy trends involving digital currency and cybersecurity/tech governance.
• Assess operating risks and legal needs, ensuring the legal department is equipped to provide outstanding support.
• Manage outside counsel effectively and establish strong domain expertise.

Requirements

• Qualified attorney with 6-10 years of experience in cybersecurity law.
• Preferably experience within a regulated e-money/payment services or financial services institution.
• Strong familiarity with existing and upcoming cybersecurity regulations.
• Ability to manage complex projects across multiple time zones.
• Ability to exercise initiative and drive effective internal decision-making.
• Exceptional legal writing abilities.
