Location: Fully remote from anywhere in Ireland, with an option to use the office space in central Dublin.

What you will do

  • Manage a software engineering team of 4-6 engineers.
  • Support the growth and development of engineers through regular feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Plan and prioritize projects with colleagues across departments, breaking them down into manageable tasks.
  • Facilitate effective communication within your team, other Product & Engineering teams, and other departments.
  • Contribute to technical discussions while preserving autonomy for engineers.
  • Attract and recruit great engineers to the team and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of software management engineering experience in an engineering management or team lead role, ideally at a product-led growth or SaaS company.
  • Experience with integrating with payments processors to build subscription systems for SaaS applications.
  • A strong track record as a software engineer, providing technical context for supporting engineers and weighing in on technical decisions.
  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn Ruby and TypeScript.
