What you will do
- Build strong relationships with Japan agencies and establish as a partner of choice.
- Operate in a dynamic environment to establish the nascent brand business in the Japan market.
- Build connections with Japan client-side leadership and facilitate active conversation with HQ.
- Effectively drive the implementation of concepts and client briefs with internal teams across cultures/geographies/time zones.
- Orchestrate cross-functional support to ensure ad campaigns match client needs.
- Consistently achieve/over-achieve revenue targets and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in digital advertising with individual sales targets, preferably from a programmatic/ad tech background.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in Sales/Business Development.
- Strong Sales Experience with extensive industry contacts across Agencies/ATD, DSP, Ad-Tech, and/or Advertisers.
- Excellent communication and analytical mindset with a strong understanding of the digital ad marketplace.
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese, with strong working knowledge of English, is essential.
- Prior client-facing experience owning revenue management for a product/business line/account/geography.
- Ability to work across different global cultures and in a matrix-style environment.
- Basic to medium proficiency in the ad-tech ecosystem.
