What you will do

• Lead design and implementation for large-scale, chapter-wide technical solutions.
• Set high standards for code quality, resilience, and scalability across projects and teams.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, review complex technical work, and shape strategies.
• Create scalable, maintainable software architectures that solve complex problems.
• Diagnose and solve the most complex technical challenges across projects and teams.
• Collaborate strategically with engineering leadership, product managers, and designers to align technical strategies with business goals.
• Guide and mentor engineers at all levels, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a proven history of delivering impactful, high-quality solutions.
• A degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Dart, Swift, TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Proven experience designing scalable and robust software systems, including cloud architecture.
• Ability to influence technical decisions across organizational boundaries and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Passion for using technology to help people grow spiritually and connect with God.
