Location: This is a hybrid role based in San Mateo, CA, United States, requiring onsite presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Salary: $158,540–$192,400 USD annually.

What you will do

• Serve as a technical point of contact for creators, providing hands-on support, guidance, and best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, stability, and scalability issues in live games and experiences.
• Own and manage high-priority creator escalations, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to coordinate real-time responses to platform incidents and creator-impacting issues.
• Act as a communication bridge between creators and internal teams, ensuring clarity, transparency, and timely updates.
• Build internal tools and workflow automations (e.g., using Python) to improve response times, data visibility, and team efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game development or interactive experience development.
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience building on hirify.global and/or comparable creator platforms.
• Deep understanding of the hirify.global platform, hirify.global Studio, and the creator ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in performance optimization, debugging, and profiling for live games or experiences.
• Proficiency in Lua, including scripting for tooling, automation, or diagnostics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python, C#, and .NET is a plus.
